This Cookie Policy explains how MESQUITE & THORN DIGITAL, LLC (doing business as Handsful) ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on https://handsful.app (the "Website"). It supplements our Privacy Policy at https://handsful.app/privacy-policy. Terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Privacy Policy.

This policy currently covers the Website only. The Handsful mobile app does not yet use cookies or the tracking technologies described here; if that changes, this policy will be updated and you will be notified through the app.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They're widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, and to provide reporting information. Similar technologies (like local storage) serve comparable purposes and are covered by this policy alongside cookies.

2. How we use cookies

We use two categories of cookies on the Website:

Essential cookies — required for the Website to function. These don't require consent and can't be turned off through our banner. They include:

• Your cookie consent choice itself (so we remember your preference and don't ask again every visit)

Analytics cookies — used only with your consent, to help us understand how visitors use the Website (e.g. which pages are viewed, general traffic patterns). We use Google Analytics (GA4) for this purpose. See Section 4 for how consent controls this.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not sell or share data collected through cookies with third parties for advertising purposes.

4. Your consent choices

When you first visit the Website, a consent banner asks whether you'd like to allow analytics cookies. Google Analytics is configured to deny data collection by default (via Google Consent Mode) — it collects nothing about you unless and until you actively accept.

• If you accept, analytics cookies are enabled and GA4 begins collecting anonymized usage data.
• If you decline, only essential cookies are used, and GA4 collects nothing.
• To change your choice at any time, use the "Cookie preferences" link in the Website footer, which reopens the consent banner.

Your choice is stored so you won't be asked again on future visits unless you clear your browser's storage, use a different browser/device, or more than 12 months has passed since you last chose — after which we'll ask again to keep your consent current.

5. Third-party cookies

Google Analytics (GA4) is the only third-party service that sets cookies on the Website, and only after you consent. For more on how Google handles data, see Google's Privacy Policy and information on Google Analytics cookie usage.

6. Browser controls

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings, independent of the choice you make in our banner. Blocking essential cookies may affect how the Website functions (for example, we may not remember your consent preference, and the banner may reappear on every visit).

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes, including when the Handsful mobile app introduces cookies or similar tracking technologies. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
